We Care About Kids
At the heart of our books is a simple idea: timeless fairy tales can help today’s children grow into emotionally intelligent, imaginative, and confident humans.
Each of our beautifully illustrated storybooks is crafted to guide young readers—from curious listeners to independent readers—on a journey of emotional discovery, resilience, and connection.
Through the adventures of clever, kind, happy, and brave characters, children explore big feelings, learn about empathy, and gain valuable social and thinking skills—all while getting lost in the magic of storytelling.

About Our Author
Janice Lawrence is a storyteller, illustrator, and curriculum designer with a lifelong love of fairy tales and a deep belief in their power to help children grow.
Janice creates illustrated picture books for children ages 3 to 8 that combine the timeless wisdom of folklore with modern emotional twists. Her stories are crafted for visual learners, early readers, and deep feelers — the ones who light up when a story unfolds through pictures as much as words.
Each book is a small adventure in courage, kindness, and cleverness — guiding children toward confidence, empathy, and resilience. Janice writes with parents, educators, and librarians in mind, offering tools that spark conversations and build a foundation for literacy and emotional intelligence.
Why this work? Because Janice's children and nephews learned differently. Her own experiences with helping them navigate ADD, Autism, and dyslexia inspired her to reimagine what reading could look like for late bloomers.
“I create books that speak to children in the ways they understand — amusing pictures, simple language and stories with heart — so they can experience joy of storytelling, even if reading is hard.” – Janice Lawrence
